Facts / description

This CD is an enhanced CD in CD-Extra format. If you play it in a music CD player, it will behaeas a completely normal music CD. If you use it with a PC, you get the added bonus of a playabledemo ersion of the game "Phoenix" - both English and German ersions included. For the latest news and info about Team 17 and the people behind the game "Phoenix" aswell as demos of other Team 17 games, isit the Team 17 web site: http://www.team17.com "Phoenix" is Bjorn Lynne's first full-length orchestralwork. The music was produced with orchestralarrangements and the compositions were approachedlike an orchestra, and then recorded with a powerfularsenal of synths, samplers and effects. The music follows a sci-fi story full of action, intrigueand drama. A thread is followed through the musicfrom start to finish with a common theme that all themusic is built around. The arrangements are a bitinspired by the likes of Christopher Franke ('Babylon 5'composer) and many other sci-fi composers. If you are interested in knowing more about how BjornLynne produced orchestral music - without anorchestra - then you might want to read his articleabout how this CD was created.
