User reviews

  • "Scary, man" (by Wolf, 25 Feb 2007) [10/10]
Although I never played the original game, this soundtrack has really scared the whatsit outta me! When I was younger I was scared of first person games so I guess that's one reason. All the same, I really love it! Nice one! *^_^* \m/

  • "Excellence" (by Razorback, 1 Nov 2010) [10/10]
If you love good music and ambience, download this soundtrack. It's fantastic.

  • "Excellent soundtrack rip!" (by Xenmen, 7 May 2013) [10/10]
It's a straight mod rip, and something I've been looking for. The soundtrack is one of the most haunting from any game I've played, and really made this iconic Amiga adventure game what it is. This rip fits my need PERFECTLY; many thanks!

Facts / description

The soundtrack from the Amiga version of Elvira: Mistress of the Dark, ripped (not by me) using the MKIII Action Replay Device.
The Catacombs and Intro music will not play correctly in some players (like Awave Studio).

Note: the music is completely different in the PC version.

Other tools

Generate info.txt - with this cool feature you can generate the info.txt file with all tune information and save it somewhere, which means you'll have something like "tune ID card"! :) This has cool advantages - it's small, fastly readable/editable, you can add it to the tune archive if you want and you will have everytime fast information about the game and music archive. Also programs which support reading from txt files (such as KBMedia Player) can read the info.txt file directly while playing tunes of all formats!
