  • "powerful tunes" (by deepblue, 23 May 2005) [8/10]
the best amiga music usually came in the glorious days between 90-93 and this is no exception. the sensible software's first hit had a powerful soundtrack.

  • "fantastic" (by fintroll, 2 Dec 2005) [9/10]
fantastic game, great music i sfx. only two themes, but it's enough o feel like... a beholder of the game of the gods.

  • "Megalomania (by humber, 26 Mar 2008) [7/10]
I love the game MegaloMania, truly. The music makes a lasting impression and so I got the SNES spc fies - that was what I was brought up on in my generation. But then I learned it was a port from the Amiga (like a lot of games) and so was intrigued..

I will tell it strait - I love the island selection music more on the Amiga version but the level selection music on the SNES. I don't know how this translates into a review except for my view from a different generation, of course, I know these are implacable copies - I can feel that.

Glad am make no mistake I to have been privy to these two songs, still it would have been nice to get the sound FX as well as the music.. I would really like that myself because they too also count for a lot, at least on the SNES version anyway.

Other tools

Generate info.txt - with this cool feature you can generate the info.txt file with all tune information and save it somewhere, which means you'll have something like "tune ID card"! :) This has cool advantages - it's small, fastly readable/editable, you can add it to the tune archive if you want and you will have everytime fast information about the game and music archive. Also programs which support reading from txt files (such as KBMedia Player) can read the info.txt file directly while playing tunes of all formats!
