- "Sadly, the rip doesn't work." (by Kaminari, 6 Nov 2005) [1/10]
Yamaha's MidRadio refuses to play the MIDs. Looks like a conversion error from XMI to MID:
"An error has occurred (INVALID_FORMAT)."
- "Very good compositions" (by mirwais57, 11 Nov 2005) [10/10]
I think you'll find that the split between Tyrian and Tyrian 2000 is unnecessary; all the music appears in Tyrian and is just repeated in the second game.
Other than that the music is really good.
- "Best of the best game music" (by Dragyn, 26 Jul 2007) [10/10]
Yah its very good this game and its music. Limited until WIN98 cause these good music comes from dos play. Missing 2 music "Sarah Song" and "Rock Garden".

Tyrian is all about big guns, bigger ships, and amazing music. This package, along with the original Tyrian archive available elsewhere on Mirsoft, is full of high-power tunes. Lots of energetic synths and chiptune guitars, along with plenty of whooming space effects, comprise these tracks. The MIDI rips are solid, try XMPlayer if you have trouble with them.
