My info

Luckily the great rocking Unreal music full of great action and hot fire is back! After disappointing soundtrack to Unreal 2, this one is again cool stuff, full of rocking action, but also of great ideas. However, after closer look you can see that really best tracks you know from somewhere (and then you recognize that half of the music tunes is soundtrack from UT2003...) and we again have to say that the "new" tunes didn't reach its predecessor. They are more ambient and orchestral, but luckily you will found enough really powerful and nonboring pieces also here. [8/10]

User reviews

  • "THIS ROCKS!!!" (by Pyramid Head, 8 Sep 2004) [10/10]
I loved music from UNREAL TOURNAMENT 2003, and with release of UNREAL TOURNAMENT 2004 game, Kevin Riepl, Starsky Partridge and Will Nevins comes with more of great music! OK. Techno pieces composed by Partridge is not fantastic, but not dissapointing. But, the tunes composed by Riepl and Nevins are COOL! They mixed many styles of music (Orchestra, eerie choirs, heavy battle rhymes, techno etc.) and effects are GRE... No, not great. FANTASTIC! UNREAL TOURNAMENT 2003/2004 soundtrack is a MASTERPIECE! Don't wait, go to GRAWL'S FTP and download this!!!

  • "I remember you..." (by Rogue, 15 Jul 2006) [9/10]
Heh. Some songs were repeated from 2k3, but that's okay with me...still great music. Takes me back to '99's style.

    Favs (appearing in 2k4 only):
    Menu UT2K4
    Level 15
    Action 2 ver 2
    Conduit ver 2
    Corrugation Rise
    Glacier
    Hyperblast Redux
    Junkyard
    Serenity
    Skaarj Assault
    Onslaught 1
    Metallurgy

It also brings back music from UT'99...woo hoo! Although I hope new songs come out for 2k7.

Edit:I found out Alex Brandon is back to do UT 2k7!

Facts / description

The game includes also almost all tunes from Unreal Tournament 2003.
However, as noticed user named Rogue, there is one track called Outrage, which is missing in this album but found in UT2004 game. You can download it from Kevin Riepl's page, http://www.kevinriepl.com .

Generate info.txt - with this cool feature you can generate the info.txt file with all tune information and save it somewhere, which means you'll have something like "tune ID card"! :) This has cool advantages - it's small, fastly readable/editable, you can add it to the tune archive if you want and you will have everytime fast information about the game and music archive. Also programs which support reading from txt files (such as KBMedia Player) can read the info.txt file directly while playing tunes of all formats!
