Hi Octane was hot. The music was so sexy. I played it through my Sound Blaster AWE32 and this was one of those rare gems that had CUSTOM SOUNDFONT BANKS for the midi music. Yeah! If you spent $250 on a sound card in 8th grade, you would be excited too. It's a shame I can't find those original custom soundfont banks anywhere.

...without buying game CD's, and before (well, after, but most people haven't heard yet, and anyway it would be too much CPU load for the game) invention of mp3. The game is quite dynamic and not boring, even though there are only 6 different tracks. I really liked both this game and it's music.
About game soundfonts - the file is: SOUND/BULLFROG.SBK in the game dir, standard version 1 soundfont, so all what is needed is to find and download the game. I did today and even enjoyed playing it in DOSbox for a while. Only pity can't put (I still have) my old AWE32 board to the computer, due to lack of ISA slot in the latter. :(

how cool (technically) the game was made, with only 512kb of sampler memory!

Generate info.txt - with this cool feature you can generate the info.txt file with all tune information and save it somewhere, which means you'll have something like "tune ID card"! :) This has cool advantages - it's small, fastly readable/editable, you can add it to the tune archive if you want and you will have everytime fast information about the game and music archive. Also programs which support reading from txt files (such as KBMedia Player) can read the info.txt file directly while playing tunes of all formats!
