  • "Creepy" (by The Lightning Stalker, 6 May 2004) [8/10]
The original Doom music has to be some of the creepiest game music ever sequenced. This music helped create the spooky atmosphere that is Doom. id could have used module music for higher quality instead of the MIDI FM music, but I suppose they chose MIDI because it more widely available in hardware at the time and the slower CPU speeds of the day did not allow for much to be done in software. But other than that and some of the songs sounding like a bad rock demo, this music is classic nonetheless.

  • "Doom Game Rip" (by coco, 11 Dec 2004) [10/10]

  • "This is true legend" (by McDuck, 21 May 2005) [8/10]

  • ""Doom: Game rip"" (by Gorn, 4 Oct 2005) [10/10]

  • "Brilliant" (by Vampire ODBC, 28 Apr 2007) [10/10]
This music is old, but don't think it's not good!
I like the song of vitory and Map 8 Episode 1 very much!

  • "good for general midi" (by paul_al, 7 Nov 2018) [4/10]
this midi file is good for general midi standards

  • "IDDQD, IDKFA and IDSPISPOPD/IDCLIP" (by Warcow, 16 Nov 2011) [9/10]
Can't believe I haven't made a review on this classic soundtrack yet but here it goes. Started playing it along with Wolfenstein 3-D in 1993 and I immediately got hooked on the music (that I appreciate most when playing games really) that are really evil, melancholic and creepy. The songs fits the game superb and there's a vast variety in the songs. (Side note: It's weird how the cheat codes to this game seem to be permanentely burned into my brain.)
