(by Tartantyco, 2 Jan 2006) [7/10] -Despite the poor game itself the soundtrack was very good and I too contemplated on buying the game, not for the soundtrack but for one of the greatest intro movies in game history. It is truly a lost art, making great intros. Oddly enough I cannot find the sound track for the intro in this compilation and that saddens me somewhat. Nonetheless, many gems in this soundtrack.  Warcraft 2: Game rip"Awesomeness" (by Pathogen, 2 Jan 2006) [8/10] The game's audio is and always has been one of its strong points. Two things will always stick with me about this game, Bill Roper's humorous voiceovers and Glen Stafford's awesome music. It not only fits perfectly but adds a whole new level of ambience to WC2. WC2 is pretty dated by today's standards, but the music never gets old. For those who remember playing WC2 back in the old days listening to the music is almost as great a nostalgia trip as playing the actual game. Rather than the jingly techno tunes in the prequel or the low-key ambiental crap in the sequel, WC2's midis strike a good balance between atmosphere and pace. The only doubt I've got is that some of the Orc tracks sound a bit too peaceful and reflective for a race of bloodthirsty savages. And the human victory tracks sound a bit wavery. But those are small complaints, overall. Download! and note the amount of skill.  Unreal 2: Game rip"I awoke" (by Rogue, 27 Dec 2005) [8/10] I listened to the Halo soundtracks, which put me to sleep. But these tracks woke me. There's a bit of variation, and a sense of atmosphere. I could tell where each song was used in the game, and that is the mark of good music. Funky_flat101, none have been uploaded. Unreal Tournament: Game rip"Still listening...6 years later" (by Rogue, 27 Dec 2005) [10/10] Fast electronic music that keeps the adrenaline pumping in the game. It's amazing how Alex and the others make each song have its own 'personality' to suit each map. With every song, I can identify which map(s) it's used in. Favs: Foregone Destruction Title Menu Into the Darkness Save Me Go Down Mission Landing Colossus Ending Skyward Fire Razorback Super Fist Still listening... Unreal Tournament: Arranged/Remixed tunes"Pretty good" (by Rogue, 27 Dec 2005) [7/10] Some nice sequences for music that's techno-like and with complicated rhythms. Although, I think the sequencer didn't notice that the music changes now and then. Added two more. Unreal Tournament 2003: Game rip"Where's Alex?" (by Rogue, 27 Dec 2005) [9/10] By the way things sound, Alex retired...why else would Epic Games settle for second best? But with the changes made to UT, you can't really blame them. Change the look, change the game types, change the weapon collection...change the music? Still pretty good, but my favorites list has been reduced. Track 25 already? I thought I was still on the second track. Track 1: Strings. Track 2: Strings. Track 3: Strings...etc. The Halo soundtracks are the only soundtracks I'm aware of that actually repeat phrases in different tracks. Boring. It deserves a 3 because not all songs are by Marty. I sold the CD (sucker!); I like money more. I tried my hardest to listen to it, but it hurt. I'm not saying that you shouldn't listen to it, but if you ever need a lullaby, pick this up. This is more than awesome to me from the first time I heard those tunes back in 1995! Thumbs up Iveson! ;) Deus Ex: Game rip"Love the music" (by Ice_, 18 Dec 2005) [10/10] No other game beats the music and gives the perfect atmosphere as the deus ex music, it was just BRILLIANT! I had these tracks (ripped trough unrealed.exe) but I lost them long time ago and I've been to lazy to install deus ex all over again (btw, the best game I've EVER played in single player if I might add) and rip them all over. Thanks for this package, I'll enjoy it very much. /Ice_ Monkey Island 2: Game rip"Memories" (by Ice_, 18 Dec 2005) [8/10] As Pug says, it brings back good old memories, I played this game all day longs at summer time on my old 386 when I was little with pc speaker sound. IT ROCKED! I played trough hard but I never managed to complete it *sobs*, to hard :D. Great mods anyway, wish there were more of them though as there were a lot of other great tunes in the game. :'( Blood: Game rip"2-3 great musics here.." (by Optimus, 16 Dec 2005) [8/10] There is a specific music in one level that I really like, it's really atmospheric and sad, amazing feeling. It really gave me the creeps while playing in a dark greatly designed level. I have heard the same midi in some special Doom WADs released by level makers in the community recently. It's great! And there is another great music I haven't found it in any level while playing Blood but heard it in the music setup of the game. Strange,. perhaps I'll find it here right now. Some other musics aren't so good though.. Crusader: No Remorse: Game rip"Original Music" (by mez, 16 Dec 2005) [10/10] This music, along with the crusader: no regret music, is probably the best MOD music I've listened too. I love this game, I love this music. Its like a warm fuzzy feeling... ;) Sonic CD: Game rip"there is better" (by Myke, 15 Dec 2005) [3/10] note that if you have the CD of the game you just have to pop it in a mp3 player and you'll get all the music of the game(it worked for me) Super Smash Bros: Arranged/Remixed tunes"kinda good" (by dgby1719, 14 Dec 2005) [6/10] This was a good archive.I just did not like some of them.(I'll try to make some remixes of music sometime in the future):)
